Fire Rated Access Panel

This fire rated access panel complies with the building regulations documents (L1 and L2) (2002) to offer fire protection of a 1 hour duration. This hatch is both suitable for domestic and commercial loft access. It comes complete with a robust zinc mild steel door tray and frame. It is available in one standard size of 900x600mm. The finish is lightly textured and comes with a polyester powder coating that blends with most installations. If required, it can be painted over to match existing installations. The door tray is supported along its short length by two removable pivot plates. It can be locked by a concealed key operated budget lock. It is recommended that the hatch is lined with a 10 or 12.5mm think plasterboard although where space is at a premium, any suitable insulating material can be used to protect the metal frame. The panel has been manufactured from 1.2mm 'Zintec' coated mild steel.
